For sale is one Yorkville YSM2P Powered Studio Monitor in black finish.

It functions well. There are a few light surface scratches in some areas but the monitor is in good condition. Everything works.

Made in Canada with quality components throughout - from the thick, overbuilt cabinet walls to the high quality drivers and amplifiers, everything is engineered to optimize performance and reliability. These are great studio monitors.

The speaker is bi-amped, with the 6.5 inch woofer receiving 85 watts and the 1 inch tweeter 30 watts. There is also a 2 inch cylindrical port beneath the woofer for a more open low end. The speakers also have a clip/limiter button allowing you to push these speakers without distortion and clipping. Also featured on the back panel are Dip switches which allow you to manipulate the EQ response in different room set-ups. (6 choices) The drivers are shielded so that they can be placed close to display monito. The amps shut off automatically if over-driven/over-heated.

Used as audiophile speakers, they provide a high level of musical satisfaction -- open, transparent with exceedingly low distortion, it provides a crystal clear window to the original performance. Bass has a good amount of drive to it, making the musical presentation very natural, organic and exciting. The switches in the back offer many levels of customization.
