The Encyclopedia of Creative Cooking, Weathervane Books, 1982, is a comprehensive encyclopedia of culinary knowledge with approximately 2,000 recipes and 800 full-color photographs, covering appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, soups, main dishes, breads, salads, desserts--anything and everything to do with food. It was compiled by Jane Solmson and edited by the late American chef Charlotte Turgeon, known for translating and editing the first English-language edition of the Larousse Gastronomique. The book is in excellent vintage condition. Minor wear to the cover jacket. No wear, damage, or tears to pages, book spine or hard cover. Heavy, with close to 800 pages. 8.5 x 11 x 2 inches. $15.
