The table was stripped, cleaned and sanded, then painted in a mix of blues.
The bottom shelf was accented with stencil work in gold metallic paint which was sanded to a worn, distressed look. The bottom shelf was also painted with a slight faux linen look.
A rice paper decoupage was placed on the top and bottom then white washed for a softer, faded finish.
The whole piece was clear coated with a satin topcoat and finished with black wax for added depth and shine.
The brass feet caps have been cleaned and polished.
A lot of work went into this table.
