Laundry Labourer

Job Description:

Seeking highly motivated, productive, and reliable Laundry Labourer for full-time employment opportunities in a modern, efficiently run production facility located at 9750 McCarthy Road Kelowna, BC

Job Responsibilities:

Posting involves rotation between a variety of tasks includes but is not limited to the following:
� Folding, bagging and processing clean linen
� Operating blanket and towel folders
� Hanging lab coats and scrub jackets
� Operating cart dumpers
� Sorting linen on sort line
� Feeding carts

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:

� Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate or equivalent training and experience
� Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, walking, crouching, lifting, and pushing
� Must be able to lift 15 pounds
� Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical labour
� Ability to work well with others
� Ability to understand and follow instructions
� Strong Organizational skills

Terms of Employment:

� Full-time position
� Wage range: $16.75 - $19 per hour
� Working conditions include some exposure to heat and noise.
� Our operations run seven (7) days per week � weekends as well as overtime as required
� 40 Hour work week � 5:30am-4:00pm (4x 10hr shifts) or 6:00am -4:30pm (4x 10hr shifts)
� Benefits include: Medical and Extended Benefits after 3 months. Productivity bonuses when goals are achieved
