G.O.L.F. Lessons Monte Harris

Lessons by PGA Professional Monte Harris.

Monte's lessons are one on one at The Golf Centre on Benvoulin Road. Pupils include Lionel Taylor (pictured above at age 12), 2014 Zone 2 Junior Champion and 2017 Men's Club Champion at Kelowna Golf and Country Club as well as 2010 Zone 2 Men's Champion Jason Monteleone amongst many others. Jason also won the 2000 Ogopogo Invitational shooting a course record 63 in the final round at Kelowna Golf and Country Club. In 2018 Lionel won the Sunset Ranch Men's Open for the second time as well as the Black Mountain Men's Open which included a Course Record 64. Lionel turned Professional in 2019 and highlights for this year have included a second straight Black Mountain Men's Open title as well as winning the Tour Championship on the Interior PGA Tour at Harvest Golf Club. Other pupils have won over 200 titles.


Monte uses The Golfing Machine Book and Teaching System and has been authorized to the Doctorate level by Ben Doyle, the first Authorized Instructor of The Golfing Machine and an Inductee into The World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame.
Monte is one of only forty in the world to attain the G.S.E.D. doctorate level. The Golfing Machine is a brilliant system that has had a great influence on the game of golf. Many past and current PGA Tour Players have had their game influenced by G.O.L.F. instructors who credit the book with their knowledge. 1989 Canadian Amateur Champion Peter Major and 2015 U.S. Amateur Champion and 9 Time PGA Tour Winner Bryson DeChambeau both give credit to The Golfing Machine system for being instrumental in their success.
UPDATE...Sunday, September 20, 2020 was a good day for The Golfing Machine when Bryson Dechambeau, an acknowledged practitioner of The Golfing Machine System won the U.S. Open and here locally my pupil Lionel Taylor won his third straight Black Mountain Men's Open with scores of 66 and 61 to win by 12 shots!
UPDATE...Monday, October 5, 2020. Lionel Taylor won the Order of Merit on the BCPGA Interior Tour in 2020 and has repeated again in 2023 and 2024 as the Leading Professional in tournament play for the year. Congratulations Lionel!
