It might sound an odd question for a veterinary hospital to ask but for our client services team caring for our clients is just as important as caring for their pets. So if you enjoy making someone's day, everyday, AND love animals, we have the job for you!

We are looking for an outgoing, positive person to join our veterinary client services team. Previous experience working in veterinary medicine is strongly preferred.

I am detail oriented and precise, able to prioritize and still keep everyone happy, an excellent communicator with a warm, outgoing personality and a quick learner. I am great at multi-tasking, able to maintain my composure and think fast in stressful situations and I’m a happy and positive person.

I can bring the following skills and experience to the position:
• multi tasking: ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once
• team player: able to work with co-workers to promote a cohesive team environment
• communication: can clearly understand and communicate appointment or discharge instructions to clients
• phone skills: able to answer phones and handle client inquiries in a warm and professional manner
• sensitivity and professionalism: sensitive to medical situations and our clients’ emotions
• precise and detailed orientated: able to accurately complete all documentation for patient admissions and schedule appointments according to guidelines
• computer literate: our hospital runs on a program called Avimark, we also use MS Office
• quick learner: understand the policies and procedures of the hospital and be able to explain them positively to clients
• good at math: for our cash out procedures
• previous experience in a veterinary hospital or medical clinic

It is a full time position with an immediate start. We care for our client's pets 7 days a week so client service team members are required to cover the weekends on rotation and be available for evening shifts.
