Recent foot issues caused me to look for comfortable shoes that provided good cushioning. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The mesh top gives so there is no pressure from the top of the shoe. The foot bed gives good support. I also use an insole recommended by my podiatrist. This improves the support somewhat although I can easily wear the shoes without the insoles. I was so pleased that I ordered another pair in another color.
I shouldn't have been surprised. I have worn other styles of Arcopedico for a number of years; they also have been comfortable, especially sightseeing on European trips where comfy shoes are critical.
