2007 Taylor GS8 Acoustic guitar

For sale is my 2007 Taylor GS8 with added electronics.

Here’s the supporting info about my Taylor guitar.

A spectacular discontinued Taylor Grand Symphony Model. The GS8 pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid Indian rosewood back and sides. A 25 1/2 inch scale length with the neck meeting the non-cut-away body at the 14th fret. Ivoroid soundhole rosette.

Tonally this acoustic is firm and rich, the low end doesn’t overtake the sound pallet but instead comes through balanced with an emphasis on the mid-range. Taylor describes the Grand Symphony model as having a "rich, piano-like bass, strong mid-range, and thick trebles." This 2007 Taylor GS8 has a strong and well-balanced tone. Articulate with fingerpicking, plenty of headroom and volume with hard strumming or flat picking. Very comfortable to hold. A great all-around guitar.

Solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Rosewood back and sides. The Mahogany neck is 1 and 3/4 inches at the nut, and it has a great feel.

It Plays and sounds great. Set up by a professional luthier. Has added electronics with pick-up installed.

As part of full disclosure, the previous owner was an aggressive picker and you can see some wear around the sound hole. It has a small crack repair on the lower side below the sound hole that has been properly repaired by a professional luthier.
