Product Manager - Kelowna


QHR Software Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of QHR Technologies Inc. and is based in Kelowna, BC.

Position Summary:


QHR Software Inc. is looking for an experienced Product Manager where you will be responsible for the product management of our Quadrant product lines. You will work directly with customers and all functional areas of the company to define new and existing customer/market requirements to develop new product initiatives that promote growth & profitability.

Essential Functions:


• Market/End Customer Research
• Competitive Analysis
• Business Case Development
• Develop Product Vision, Product Strategies, Product Roadmaps and Product Release Plans
• Work closely with customers, prospects and marketing colleagues to define product requirements.
• Play a key role as the business process expert and customer advocate for the applicable product offerings.
• Manage the defect & enhancement backlogs by aligning priorities to key business opportunities
• Responsibility for driving a well-defined product management methodology
• Sales and marketing support – develop product marketing materials, provide demos, attend trade shows and speak on behalf of the company to existing clients or user groups.
• Provide product training, product documentation, and product marketing collateral to Sales, Marketing and Customers.
• Provide support to our professional services team on customer implementations.
• Monitor project release statuses and drive product delivery deadlines.
• Develop a comprehensive product plan, communication strategy, calendar and tactical plans.
• Manage the development and performance of your team that includes Business Analysts while also collaborating with departments such as Development, Support, and Quality Assurance etc.
• Set and track performance metrics to conduct post implementation review to assess project success versus stated objectives.



Qualifications:


• 3-5 years classic product management, preferably with Business-to-Business product/services
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma Post-Secondary and/or equivalent experience
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required
• Excellent problem solving abilities
• Strong leadership ability in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Deep understanding of product management principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge/experience with agile software development methods
• Comprehensive understanding of usability and interaction design
• Strong understanding of current web application design
• Experience writing software requirements
• Experience in an Agile Development
• Payroll, HR, and /or Scheduling knowledge, with focus in the Canadian health care industry would be an asset
