Serving Staff - FT, PT and Temporary positions available (inlcuding breakfast/ day serving staff)

Sparkling Hill in Vernon, BC is looking for experienced, professional staff to fill these roles for our Peakfine Restaurant, in addition to Barrique & Java as well banquet service in the Austrian Ballroom.

The candidate(s) will be prompt, courteous and hospitable. You should have previous experience in fine dining environment and working knowledge of POS Squirrel Computer would be an asset. Candidates must also be well groomed and service orientated.

You must possess a valid Serving-it-Right Certificate, be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Some overtime will also be required. You must have the ability to work harmonously with your colleagues and management, be professional and extremely guest service orientated. Candidates should be self motivated, able to commit to a year at least. You should take pride in a job well done which includes being a positive person who contributes to innovative ideas of improvement for both the team and Sparkling Hill Resort.

Hourly rates are competitive with the industry norm, plus pooled grats, from $10.25/hr -$12.50/hr based on previous experience and qualifications in serving industry. We are hiring several positions in different categories: FT positions are 40 hrs/wk, 8 hr shifts; PT positions must be able to work a minimum of 24hrs/wk. Temporary positions hired are hourly paid and utilized for extra work load coverage, including weekends and during peak times or holiday season.

All employees working at SHR must also obtain a Criminal Record Check within a 1 month period of work. And have reliable and their own means of transportation to get to/from work.
